Brian Hagerty, CEO, Celeste Power Group, has over 40 years of industry experience working as a scientist, engineer, manager and technology company executive.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics & Mathematics in 1983 from the University of California, Irvine, where he also studied astrophysics, quantum physics, electrical engineering, computer science and artificial intelligence as part of his extended dual major program.  Mr. Hagerty is currently the CEO of Celeste Power Group focusing on the promotion and development of Clean Energy technology and projects; he is also CEO and Managing Director of GETx Labs, the independent R&D Tech Labs sponsored by Celeste Power Group.

Plessey Semiconductors, a global foundry & electronics manufacturing conglomerate with offices in Irvine California and headquarters in Swindon England.  Brian worked on computer modeling of sub-micron-scale solid-state physics.  He was promoted from Engineering Physicist to Engineering Design Center Manager with responsibility for managing the High-Performance-Computing Design, Modeling, Simulation, Layout and Synthesis infrastructure for ASICs: Application Specific Integrated Circuits.  He also led the Irvine office’s migration to a new Manufacturing Resource Planning and Technology Data Center.

Beckman Instruments (now Beckman Coulter) as a Software Engineer in their Scientific & Clinical Instruments Divisions working on Automated Computer-Language Pattern Matching and Code Generation for the company’s internal science and engineering teams, as well as helping to implement new Information Technology and Wide Area Network Systems.

Inference Corporation, an Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering company, where he was hired as an AI Data Center Manager and Software Engineer.  The company's expert-systems inferencing products were known as ART: the Automated Reasoning Tool, and ART-IM for Information Management.

Volt Delta Resources, a High-Reliability Telecommunications Engineering Systems Integrator, as a senior software engineer working on Embedded Unix Computing for real-time voice, data and signaling systems in support of Bell Company and related client operations.

Southern California Edison’s Advanced Technology Center, where he was hired as an engineering consultant working on a multi-disciplinary team for the design and rollout of Edison’s Smart Grid and Packet-Radio Wireless Meter-Reading Network Operations.

Jet Propulsion Laboratories’ Telecommunications and Mission Operations Directorate (TMOD), where he was hired as a systems engineering consultant to work on Robotic Antenna and Satellite Tracking Systems for Earth & Space Imaging in support of Mission, Science & Telemetry Operations, including installation of satellite tracking & telecommunications operations systems at JPL, University of Maryland, UC Berkeley, and NASA Headquarters. — The "LEO-D" Low-Earth-Orbiting Demonstration team was responsible for tracking and downloading data from satellites like SAMPEX, the Solar Anomalous Magneto-Particle Explorer, and EUVE, the Extreme Ultra-Violet Explorer, as well as various National Oceanic & Atmospheric Agency (NOAA) satellites.

Automatic Intuition dba Copernica Networks – Brian launched his own AI research & development company in the early 1990s for software/hardware co-design and embedded systems computing in the field of data and telecommunications.
